I find that most of my friends fall into two categories when it comes to busting a good sweat: Exercise is one of those necessary evils to keep your body functioning properly, kind of like dealing with your period, or it’s a great way to release stress and anxiety. If you happen to be someone who leans more towards the first category (like yours truly), you are always looking for how to work out at home with exercises that are not complicated and don’t require fancy equipment. Well, moms, I am here to help you end your search. The truth is we really only need 30 minutes of exercise a day to keep us feeling like we did before we dedicated our lives to this whole motherhood thing, less tired! And yes, I said FEEL (not look) as we did before motherhood because I know there is no way in Hades I’m going back to the body I had pre-kids. I have a booty now, after FIVE kids. I refuse to lose it! Here are some great options when it comes to how to workout at home.

Are you a 30-minute workout addict?
If you’re like me, you are a sucker for a good 30-minute workout that 1) doesn’t involve equipment and 2) includes that one person who is not as athletic as the peppy person leading the
